Hello, World.

With 12 days until graduation, I’m a little nostalgic and in denial. I can’t believe I won’t be returning to Saint Mary’s in the fall, and I’ll be moving across the country!! I’m so excited for all the changes, though, as they are new and exciting and I do feel I’ve outgrown SMC a little. I’m ready for the next big thing. BUT I’m still sad that I won’t be close to all the amazing people I met in college. Again, I’m a little in denial. Today, though, I wanted to share a little graduation inspired playlist! Hope you enjoy, and if you’re graduating this year: CONGRATS!

Hello, World.

It’s absolutely crazy to me that it is already April, and that we’re just about halfway through! It feels like I just started junior year, and now it’s almost over (though I AM SO HAPPY). Life is interesting right now. I love making playlists for each month because I usually tailor them to my current mood, state of mind, or just general likes. This playlist has some positive vibes, which I both have and feel like I need more of! I’m so blessed, and really looking forward to the things to come! I’m so excited for this summer because I’m going to be studying for the LSAT, blogging full-time, and spending time with my family (which I’m desperate to do). Tune Diaries: May 2014

Hello, World.

Today is May 6, and I only have roughly two weeks of school left this year. Its really crazy to think that my second year at Saint Mary’s is already coming to a close. I’m so sad to be leaving campus for three months, but I’m also really looking forward to spending time with my family, and hopefully getting an internship this summer. Last summer was weird for several reasons, but I know that this summer will be better. I wanted to share the songs that I’m currently listening to, to get me through the final days of the semester. Its so hard to remain focused when you know you’re going to be moving soon, and that you’ll be away from your friends for a while. But I’m trying to hang in there, and these songs are getting me pumped for a great summer filled with “me time,” creativity, and new beginnings.

Tune Diaries: April

Hello, World.

Today is April 3rd, and I’m having trouble believing it because that means I’m done with my second year of college in less than two months. Yikes. People always tell me that college goes by even faster than high school, but I try to ignore them because I love where I am, and I’m not ready to move on anytime soon. Anyway, last week was midterms (brutal), and I have to finish this week, and get through next week before I can go home for Easter break. A lot of things are working out for me right now, and I feel so incredibly blessed, and cannot wait to see my family! My sister also just purchased her first home, so I’m very excited to see it when I go home. I love her dearly, and I couldn’t be happier for her! Also, she has the cutest puppy ever so I’m can’t wait to see her. I have a good feeling this month because I just got my first job, summer is near, the weather is (theoretically) warming up, and my friendships are stronger than ever. I hope you enjoy my playlist, and I hope you’re having a great start to April.

I wanted to share my February playlist. It’s a random list, but I really like all these songs at the moment. My music taste tends to go through phases, and I can feel myself starting to like more popular music, and less indie and unheard of bands. But, they still have a special place in my heart, and in a few months will probably make a reappearance. This month means a new semester, spring coming, and the end of my second year of college (CRAZY)! So, here’s to February, and spending V-Day single, focusing on getting fit, and enjoying life.
