Gifts for the Home/Hostess

Hello, World!

Are you heading home for the holidays or attending a series of holiday parties? You’ll need the perfect gift for your hostess. Are you interested in giving someone a gift for their home? Then this is the gift guide for you! I love home decor and I think a simple home decor item can be the perfect gift for hostesses or a parent or sibling.

First up, this small wine bottle topper from Pottery Barn is so fun and festive. I just love it. They have a ton of great options, but I love this one!

Jo Malone Candle for the home. Candles can be hard if people are sensitive to smells, but I think if you know what scents your hostess likes, a great candle is a small but thoughtful gesture.

Marble Cutting Board. I love the mix of copper and marble of this cutting board! Perfect for serving the cheese plate at the holidays.

Copper and enamel mugs. Get a set of the mugs for your hostess, and they can be used to serve your favorite holiday cocktails. Even better if you include either (1) your favorite holiday drink recipe or (2) if you bring the holiday cocktail to serve in the mugs.

Stripe Wooden Tray. I love a good tray, and this one if perfect for setting on an ottoman while people gather around the TV to watch Christmas movies. It’s also great for housing a centerpiece on the table.

Cream and Wood Pitcher. This Magnolia Hearth and Hand pitcher is neutral, so will go with your hostess’s decor, and is great for serving holiday beverages.

Plaid Throw Blanket. As I mentioned above, when gifting home decor it’s always good to go neutral. I love this cozy throw blanket as it’s great for lower temperatures!
