Luggage Options: Travel Inspiration

Hello, World.

It seems that I’m going to be doing a fair bit of travel in coming years. Though I haven’t made any final choices about law school, some of the schools I’m really drawn to will involve a fair amount of travel to get to. So, in recent weeks, I’ve been excited to look at luggage. Even though I stayed fairly close to home, I have a duffle bag that I use to come home. Having a good weekender/carry on is a GREAT thing. It is also my belief that it is important to have good luggage. My family and I had this plastic luggage for years, and it was totally falling apart last year. My parents got new luggage, but I didn’t because I don’t travel enough. However, I really want to travel eventually, which means I also want to invest in good luggage. I’ve rounded up my top picks for weekender bags and rolling suitcases!Screen Shot 2016-02-03 at 8.52.19 PM.png

  1. Carry-on: Samsonite Firelite, because it is light and accepted by most airlines. Check-in luggage: firelite or the indestructible S-Cure (mine took just over 100 flights and not even a dent). Warning: firelite sucks when the temperature is low (minus), the rubber may crack; Samsonite does replace it for free, but it is annoying.

What do you think?
