Hello, World.
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite days of the year because it kicks of the holiday season, and from the day of and following I’m basically enveloped by the Christmas vibes. But before Christmas, I look forward to Thanksgiving. My family usually keep Thanksgiving pretty low key and intimate. We focus on good food and reflection about what we’re thankful for. Despite being sort of low key, though, I always try to dress up a little just because it’s a holiday. So, I put together a few outfit ideas for a few different types of Thanksgiving celebrations.
For a family dinner that is a little more festive and dressy, I would wear a cute button down (plaid is festive!), with dark jeans, red pumps, and sparkly earrings. This outfit is pretty casual, but dressed up a little by accessories. Perfect for a cozy dinner that’s just a little bit fancier.
If you have a fancier celebration, with family and friends maybe, I would wear a cute skirt, a comfy sweater (with elbow patches of course), a chunky scarf, and comfortable flats (for hours of socializing).
For a night in with your family that’s very low key, I would wear a crewneck sweater, a comfy vest, bean boots, and a cute pom pom hat. This is usually my go-to Thanksgiving outfit, but I may try to mix it up this year (emphasis on try).
I’m so excited for Thanksgiving!
Truly,
Callie leigh
