Style Icons

Hello, World.

With the beginning of a new season, I always take a few minutes to evaluate my wardrobe. Usually I’m interested in seeing how my style’s shifted, or how I hope to change aspects of my wardrobe as I began dressing for the change in weather. Preparing for summer, I spent a lot a time on Pinterest, figuring out what I like, what I want to add to my closet, and what brands I really like. Something else I really explored as well was who my style icons are. While I’ve thought about ‘style icons,’ I never really sat down and figured out who exactly they are. So, after spending quite a while exploring different women’s styles, I came up with my icons, and I wanted to share them!
Aurdrey Hepburn
Audrey Hepburn is someone I always look to as classy, stylish, and beautiful. I feel like she’s just so classic. I will forever idolize her style. Her style is timeless and chic!
Jackie O
Jackie O is another timeless, classic style icon. Her fashion is so preppy and feminine. I love her style, and her use of scarves, clean lines, and neutrals.
Kate Middleton
Kate Middleton is pretty well known for her sense of style, and it’s totally understandable why. Her outfits are always so put together, so layered, and yet appear rather simple. I love her use of navy, and I adore how her dresses are always bold and yet have vintage, feminine touches. Her outfits are always so inspiring!
Sarah Vickers
Sarah Vickers seems inspired by classic style icons like Jackie O, and Audrey Hepburn, which is probably why I love her style. Her style is slightly more East Coast than mine, but I love her use of layers and her attention to detail. I also adore her feminine style, and the clean lines of everything she wears. She also has a great sense of palette, her use of color is always perfectly balanced.
