The Look for Less

Hello, World.

I did a post a while back about the best places to shop on a college budget. In that post, I mentioned Forever 21, Kohl’s, and Target. My favorite places to shop for a deal are Old Navy, Kohl’s, target, and the outlet of given stores. I’ve put together some of my favorite summer looks at more expensive stores, and a similar version of the outfit at a less expensive store. I love shopping, but some places are just too expensive for the amount of clothing you’re getting.

J. Crew is one of my favorite stores, but sometimes it’s just too expensive. I love Gap because they have a ton of similar styles for about $20-30 dollars less. Also, their sale section is amazing. To view the details of this look click here.

If you don’t want to shop at Gap, or are looking for even better deals, try Old Navy. I recently started shopping at Old Navy a lot more. They have the J. Crew and Gap look for really great prices. Also, I get a lot of basic tops on clearance for roughly $6, which is awesome! To get full outfit details click here.

7 For All Mankind is one of my absolute favorite jean companies. Their jeans are amazing and have a great fit and they last forever. However, they are pretty expensive, and I usually don’t like spending that much on jeans because I want to be able to get more items. So, American Eagle has similar colors shorts, and if you pair them with a cute sweater, it can create the same easy summer look as jeans and t-shirt. Modcloth is a great company, and while they have good prices, some of their dresses and home decor can be on the more expensive side. A great place to look as an alternative is Kohl’s, specifically the LC Lauren Conrad line. She has some dresses that look super similar to the dresses at Modcloth!
